The Firecracker starts pretty close to our house so on the 4th Ross and his Daddy took a stroller walk to watch all the runners.
They were passing out flags so Ross got 2. He still plays with them almost every day and will chant "USA! USA!".
Quite excited to be out there with all the people!
His Daddy said that Ross was quite crazy on the way home. First he wanted to walk home, then he wanted to jump all the way home, then he wanted to ride, then have Daddy carry him... You get the picture - so it took them 26 minutes to walk home 8 blocks. The winner of the 5k finished in less than 14 minutes! He almost could have ran the race twice in the amount of time it took my little family to walk, jump, ride... home. :o) Wish I had speed like that runner!
