Perhaps Spring has Finally Sprung!

Sunday afternoon was still kind of cool but it was so pretty we decided to do some work outside. Ross and Aves got the soil ready in a big pot for flowers.

Work/ play clothes = holiday clothes.

Spider-man rubber boots and a Superman shirt. Superheros - check.

He was a really good helper with the soil.

He was dead set on watering the flowers.

Nice job!

He and Daddy also put together an outdoor storage chest for toys and such. Momma is in organization, tidy backyard Heaven.

This weekend is supposed to be even nicer and I'm so excited!!!

This and That

Today's blog is a 'this and that'. Since we haven't had any huge events I've got random pictures to post and mostly from my phone.

Uncle De stopped by to visit us recently. Avery loved him! It was so cute when he was leaving b/c she just kept saying "bye Uncle De" over and over. Ross was gone for the afternoon so didn't get to see him.

We also had a very fun play date at Cousin Buddy's on a random day when it was nice outside.

We also finally made it down to Granny's. Lately it seems either the weather was bad or someone was sick so she was glad to have us visit. Has anyone seen Avery?

She's recently been taught that she can climb from the elephant chair and over the sofa. She was doing this one day and took a break midway to watch some TV.

Ross went to a birthday party for a friend at the Children's Museum. JR was there too. They love the rock wall.

I snapped this picture one night right after the time change. She still loves to wear sunglasses.

Another random nice day. Although the time change drives me crazy I do like that they can play outside for a bit while I'm getting dinner together.

Yesterday was Spring Picture day at school. Ross informed me that he needed to wear a tie like JR so I went out and got him a tie. He was SOOOO excited when he got dressed. Aves wore a dress I made her. Both are getting so big!

Should I also joke and say this was just in the first half of the first day. ha! Snow/Ice days are all about busy activities and hopefully long naps, which did actually happen.
