Ring! Ring!

Aunt Amanda and Uncle Steven sent Ross a new toy. A cellphone. He loves it. Yesterday he touched one of the buttons and I thought the phone was ringing. :^)

Stroller rides

We took Ross on a stroller ride Wednesday. He loves them! I noticed shortly after we got started that he was sound asleep so I reclined the back. Once we finished the walk and looked in to see what he was doing this is what we saw... Boy does he have a hard life!

Ross' School

Here are two pics from daycare. One is outside in the rocking chair and the other is on the playmat. He's trying to teach some of the other babies how to sit up like a big boy.

Give me melon!

He had his first watermelon last night and loved it. He would try to fit the whole thing in his mouth and crinkle up his nose with determination to get the biggest bite ever! (We put it in the mesh feeder so he wouldn't choke)

We can sit up!

We've been practicing sitting up for a while. He can finally do it pretty much all the time now. He does occasionally get super excited and falls over but usually laughs it off.

Ross' first swim

We took Ross swimming Friday. The water was perfect and he loved it. The first couple of seconds he wasn't overly excited but shortly after he started kicking around and splashing. We'll definitely have to go back soon!

Ross has a tooth!

Ross has a tooth and another is close to breaking through! He's been quite sick lately and after a visit to the ER b/c of fever we're getting back on track. He's still home but much better, just
needs some TLC.












We put Orajel on his gums and he is so funny at first. You can tell when it starts working b/c he pooches and licks his lips. Its really funny in person.

Happy Birthday Zane and Wyatt!

We went to a birthday party Saturday for some friends. These are the birthday boys and a picture of the water slide. I must say it was awesome! The whole birthday was great - a carnival theme - but the water slide was my favorite part!

Happy 4th!

We had a great 4th of July. Some friends came up from Monticello and then we had a cookout at my brother's.
