Ross' First Day of Kindergarten!

Ross started a new school and the first morning had much excitement. Hello K-5!
He's an Arkansas Baptist Eagle!
Photography by Ross
He actually was ok with pictures that morning!
I saw this idea where you buy a shirt you think they'll fit in when they are a senior and take a picture in it at the start of each school year to see how they grow. I loved the idea so here is picture 1.
He wanted a picture with his rock.
Silly face was mandatory as well.
So literally every single picture with his sign had his mouth open b/c he was talking so much. :)
Drop off went really well. He didn't cry a bit and I almost didn't cry a bit. WIN!
That afternoon I picked him up for a haircut with our favorite Mr. Michael. Ross reported to us he had a great first day! Perfect ending was the fact that he and Mr. Michael both had on blue shoes.
 Love him!
Now that Ross has been in school a little while we definitely believe we made the right choice when we picked the school. We all love it!

Videos from AB's Swim Party

Ross has sure come a long way. I'm proud of his progress this year!

Happy Birthday to Anna Beth

Anna Beth has Elsa and Anna at her birthday party this year! It was a little girl's dream! They read a book at the start.
Aves always manages to squeeze in the front row at these events.
She wore her Frozen shirt!
Cheesing with Anna!
Trying to wrangle the masses. I love the boys over on the side. They were just ready to go swim!
Posing with both friends - Anna and Elsa. She was so excited!

Water Fun with Josh

Our buddy Josh came over Sunday to play and Ross had it all planned it. Mainly it involved water and the Slip-n-Slide.
Aves was the water girl. She kept the water flowing on the slide.
Ross went first to show Josh how it's done.
Being Josh it took him zero time to catch on.
They decided in between their turns the had to put their head under the water. I wish I'd gotten a picture of Ross doing that b/c you wouldn't have caught him last year with his head anywhere near flowing water, yet alone putting his head UNDER it!
Aves decided to try it out but on her booty.
Then it happened. A fit. A fit that people probably heard 3 streets over b/c we took the cushion away from her and gave back to Ross. Step 1: hands in a fist.
Step 2: an insanely high pitched scream
Step 3: Crying
Step 4: Quickly over it.
Step 5: Back to business as usual with the boys
She and Josh enjoyed the sprinkler. They get along really well!
I can't believe Summer is winding down. Of course we'll still have hot weather and more water fun but goodness it has flown by!
