Hopscotch - Do you know what it is?

Last week my sweet boy talked about hopscotch for days. "Mommy do you know what it is?" "You jump to the numbers." I was home with a sick Avery so one day before picking him up I drew him one and he was SO excited to find it when he got home.

I let him break down the rules for me and listened very closely b/c of course I had no clue of this new game called hopscotch.  

He was really good at it and has been practicing jumping on one leg this week. He plans to give more lessons once it warms up again. If anyone needs to come over to learn feel free.

Girls Like Tractors Too

These aren't necessarily the best pictures but she was just so busy playing that I couldn't get a good picture of her. Avery absolutely loves when Ross gets his tractors out. In fact, she ends up playing with them much longer than he does. He's such a good brother to share his toys...well most of the time.
 

Soccer Fun!

Saturday was Ross' his first day playing soccer and he loved it!
Some of his friends played too - one being Anna Beth. She'd been gone all week so both were quite excited to see each other!

They had obsticle courses set up.
Of course Avery was there, though under the weather.
They were instructed to dribble the ball. Of course this confused Ross big time and he picked it up and started dribbling it so it was explained that it means kicking the ball.
Next they played a game when they had to pick  up as many pinnies as possible. Ross was thinking of pennies, as was his Mommy, but it was explained to him as jerseys and you can see he did great!
