Ross-Isms

We've been talking at home a lot about hoping we never forget the cute little things the kids say as they grow up. We started making a list for Ross a bit ago and need to get one going for Avery.

The ones that have made the most used list for Ross are:
  • "Can I tell you something?" - this is also one Avery has recently picked up
  • "Shake, shake, shake - shake your booooooooty"
  • "I have younger moves"
  • Referring to Avery as "Seester"
  • "Booty-honkus"
  • "Boo-Tu"
  • "Ab-so-lutely"
  • "You know what you need? A hug."
  • "Tell me a story"
  • "Strawberry Drink"
  • "Afterfore" - you know not before but afterfore. :)
  • "Un-BE-lievable"

Our boy. The lover of 3 Stooges and Larry's crazy hair. (I most probably have the name wrong on who he was representing on this particular day.)

Videos from Birthday Party

Singing Happy Birthday
A few of Elsa and Anna

Happy Birthday to Avery - #3!

I can't believe I'm just now getting to the birthday post for Avery but goodness we've had a crazy couple of weeks.

Morning of the big day and she woke up excited!
She got some water coloring books. -I love these for travel and such and luckily the kids do too!
Her big gift was her Elsa coat. She was SO very excited! She strokes the braid like it is her own hair.
Birthday breakfast = pink iced donut
YUM!
Chocolate for Ross. I think the kids will be bummed with no birthdays for a while so no donuts for a while.
That night b/c Avery wasn't feeling well we got Chick Fil A and Cupcakes on Kavanugh.
Her party was that Saturday. Frozen themed. Party favors were snowball playdough and snowflake cookie cutters.
Birthday girl!
We actually got some decent pictures of the family before the party started.
The first portion was bounce house play. I take terrible pictures of action shots so this is the only one I really have. She stayed in this bouncy majority of the time. Her friends mainly played on the slide. They loved it. Avery did not.
Frozen cupcakes!
George was a fan.
I love this picture. This is her little family. She grew up with them so when we get together she thinks she's as big as they are.
Elsa and Anna were surprise guests!
They brought Avery a sparkly flower - as she calls it. She was so very excited they were there!
After some singing they played a few games.
They also were able to get their face painted with fancy snowflakes.
A little Anna love!
Anna Beth was SO excited that the princesses were there. She was totally surprised when they walked in the door!
Picture post with most of our guests.
Silly girl.
She opened her gifts at home b/c of time constraints at the party. She got this dress-up outfit from Fred and loves it!
Emma and Josh always draw the kids the best birthday pictures.
She got horses, ponies, and barbies! The big horse has been named "Sparkly".
Such a fun day!

Happy Birthday Boss - #6!

To start the birthday celebration at the birthday boy's request he had a donut and cheese balls. He'd been asking for cheese balls for weeks at breakfast. Makes zero sense as he's never had them before but I decided there was no better day than his birthday. Oh yes and Sunny D. His recent discovery and love which he gets on special occasions.
Can't believe he is 6!
Yum-o!
Avery got one with pink sprinkles. No cheese balls for her.
Obligatory parental pics.
He wanted a sports birthday party so we had it at D1. He helped come up with what to put in the goody bags. He was most excited about his idea of a whistle. Parents weren't overly excited about that one.
They played all sorts of games. Soccer, kickball, chase. Plus they just ran around like crazies.
I think this red faced cutie had the most fun out of everyone there. She went non-stop.
Football cupcakes.
Packed party room! He had Grace friends and AB friends come.
I think it was a super fun, successful party.
