Our first day on vacation we went to Disneyland! Hindsight we shouldn't have done that after a long travel day b/c we were pretty tired but we had a good time and Ross saw his "buddies" so that was fun!
Shortly after getting into the park there was a firestation with an old firetruck that the kids could climb on. Ross loves firetrucks! He has to go by the firestation twice a day to see if the trucks are there so he was beyond excited to be able to climb around on this one.
Goofy walked by while he was on the truck and he yelled at him "Goofy I'm on the firetruck!".
While Amanda and I waited in line for us to ride Peter Pan the others went and rode the carousel. Ross absolutely loved the Peter Pan ride but he was NOT a fan of waiting in line.
After lunch we watched Aladdin and it was awesome. It was pretty warm that day so we tried to find something to do in the air conditioning. I was shocked at how well Ross did. He loved it as well. After Aladdin we found the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show. Oh my goodness - little boy Heaven! Here he is waiting on it to start with Daddy.
The characters were larger puppets but for a 2 yr old he didn't know and it made his day!
We celebrated Minnie's birthday during the show. Bubbles and confetti came out of the ceiling at different times. Oh yes, and it was air conditioned too. Bonus for Mommy!
After Mickey we went to the children's area and hoped to let the boys play in the water but you had to wear shoes. We didn't have any extra with us for Ross so he didn't get to play. Instead he got to ride rides!
At one point we saw a parade. It had the Incredibles' cast in it and it was very cool.
By 4:00 Ross was exhausted and we had to leave. It was much fun though and he's still talking about it!
