I took Ross swimming over at Nana Ann's house for his first swim of the summer. I was worried that he wouldn't much care for it since we missed the swim lessons class this year. Nana has A LOT of grandkids so she is more than prepared for the little ones to visit, Ross included.
The suit kept rising up to his chin. He wasn't a fan of that but he was a fan of the water!
Having a good time! Please note the goggles. Once he saw them he wanted to put them on and didn't take them off.
Once we kind of realized he wasn't going to be a daredevil we took the suit off and just let him wear the floaties. This is his lifeguard pose. We really need to get more pictures next time b/c by the time we left he was going down the little slide they have set up for the shallow end and he would go under without complaint. I was quite proud of him. Maybe we'll go back on Saturday!
When we got home he wanted to play basketball for a few minutes. If you look real close you can see his tongue is sticking out. :)
Yes it did actually go in!! Yes we celebrated big time! That's a pretty tall goal so he has to really work at it to make it go in.
