Mother's Day Special

Ross sang for Mother's Day also. To say it blessed my heart puts it mildly. We love this little dude so very much.
 


He also sang with the kids at Mom's church. I love when he smiles at us from time to time. (That wasn't me smacking in the background.)

Happy Mother's Day

What a great day Sunday was with the family! The weather was perfect as was the kids and church. Ross picked out my dress all by himself at the store. It was his idea to get me a new dress for Mother's Day and he told me I looked beautiful. To the young ladies that may read this one day - you're welcome.  :)

We went to church with Mam and ate with her afterwards.

After lunch and a nap the kids went for a wagon ride.

Swimming with Friends

So my posts are out of order but when McKenna was here we met up with friends before Disney on Ice and the kids went swimming at the hotel. For a while Ross just hung out on the steps.

He brought 2 water guns so he was perfectly content to just shoot the girls.

McKenna is a fish!

Oh look my boy ventured off the steps and started walking around and doing some kids in the shallow end.

The girls like the water guns too and didn't mind shooting the parents. :)

Mrs. Amber was set on getting a group picture. I'm sure she sent me a copy but I can't find it anywhere.

Such a great weekend with friends!

Disney on Ice

Danielle and McKenna came back to AR to visit and go see Disney on Ice. So much fun- their visit and the show!  :)

It was a princess theme in the stories told - the first one was The Princess and the Frog. It is one of M's favorites.

Next was Cinderella.

I loved the horse and carriage!

Intermission. School friend, Marion was sitting just a couple of rows above us and she came down to visit and show us her beautiful hair! It was priceless!

Ross took the intermission to get him some beloved cotton candy.

It came with a princess crown and he gave it to McKenna. When she put it on he told her she looked beautiful. She actually wore it until we got back to the car.

Next was my favorite - Tangled.

This part of the show was great! They did all sorts of acrobatic things on the ribbon. Loved it!

Maximus was a definite crowd favorite.

At one point during Tangled Ross had to go potty and came back with a sword. He put on a big show and even got some applause from the rows above as we were getting ready to leave. M is in the background begging to exchange her toy of choice for a sword. 

It was a great weekend!!

Family pictures

We had family pictures made two weeks ago and got back the proofs. Let me just say that these were supposed to be done in February for Avery's 1 yr pics and what a chore it was to get them done! Photographer problems, weather problems, sick kid problems, and then finally we made it!

Ross never would listen when we told him to look at the photographer, Meredith, and not mess with Avery is she was doing something crazy. Avery also made her mommy very happy and wore a bow most of the time!

She really isn't so sure about getting in touch with nature - sitting on the ground.

Her hair cracked me up. I called her peacock all day.

I can not believe he is so big! We didn't get pictures made last year b/c I'd just had Avery so I decided we could just skip a year and use his school pictures as his 3 yr old pic. So crazy to see this now.

Weekend with Poppie

Poppie came and spent the weekend at our house last weekend. It was perfect weather and we had a great time! First Ross had to teach him a little soccer.

Next was golf. He was a good sport.
 

Definitely makes the most sense for a tall Poppie to set the ball up.

While that was going on outside, this was going on inside. She loves Ross' chair!

Fun at the Park

After soccer last week we and the Schnackenberg's went to the park and had a picnic. Avery loved it! She scooted and climbed everywhere!

 She made it up to the top!

So much fun and the weather was perfect!

Silly boys. Not long after this picture was taken Josh took a fall in the mud that is underneath them and wasn't too happy about it.

Sweet Ross picked me some flowers.

Our play time and lunch ran over into nap time a little. She was quite tired.
