Christmas Eve/ Day at Grady

When we got to Dad's the kids were a little crazy with wanting to do something so I brought out these tattoos. They go on with just the lines and you color them. They were a hit! These are Alex.
Aves gave me one and colored it. Purple of course.
Horse for Avery. Colored purple. No-brainer there.
I wish I had a picture of Gavin. He had so many!

Up next was annual monkey bread making. There were a lot of helpers this year b/c Graham and Reid were there too.
Christmas morning! Stockings stuffed to the gills.
I literally got zero pics during the opening of presents. It was crazy train with all those people. One present was inside this box of peanuts. The kids love the box/ peanuts.

Everyone loved playing with the train set that G received.
Slime was a huge hit too!! 3 bottles so plenty to share.
After the crazy morning and delish breakfast the kids (kind of) settled in to watch a movie.
Brent and Kev had left, but I remembered to at least get a pic with one bro and the sis.
Poppy and Granny!
On the way home we stopped to see Meme. She got the kids a little something, and they both immediately got busy coloring.

Fun day, and headed to LR from there to have Christmas at home.

Christmas Eve

Before heading to Mom's the kids put out the reindeer food. Avery was true to herself and put it all in the same spot.
Ross was true to himself and was sure to sprinkle the food all over the entire front yard. He even saved some to take to Poppy's.
We took a few pics before leaving. Literally the best one I got of these 3 together was a silly face one.
Daddy did well.
Photography by Ross. Avery was obviously over it.
Cellphone selfie.
Per the norm, they left to get gas and I handled Santa.
Ross wrote Santa the sweetest note.
I was able to get a pic when we first got there with Mam and Pop.
The day was really nice so before lunch they got to throw rocks, ride bikes, and just have fun playing outside.
After lunch and presents we played Pie in the Face. G was a huge fan!
After a few rounds Grace decided to give it a try too.
Crazy dude.

Christmas Eve Morning with the Elf

Our elf, ROSS Chippy Snowflake, came back for his last time on Christmas Eve morning. He brought the traditional donuts and sparkling grape juice for the kids. He also brought them each an ornament as usual. Avery got a horse. Ross got a trophy.
Ross read us the letter this year.
The magic was lifted by Santa so they kids were excited as ever to get to hold their elf.
Happy boy! Oh so sweet!
Elf also brought Pie in the Face game. Avery has had this on her list for months. The girl wouldn't even play it that morning. She said she was the "coach".
A few fun videos. I played too, and out of like 5 rounds I got the pie 3 times.

First Deer Hunt

Ross went on his first deer hunt this year, and loved it! Uncle Steve was their host, guide, and photographer. No pics of him though.
Excited dude.
Watching and waiting.
I'm told he did pretty well watching and waiting, but then needed a distraction about 45 minutes in.
First hunt for Ross. First hunt for Dad in many, many years. Success!

Annual Razorback Game

I didn't do the best at taking pics this year at the game. I didn't even get one of Daddy. I did get an awkward smile pic of me and Ross.
Baby bro selfie.
Avery and I had on our WOOOO pig shirts.
Game got a little boring in the 1st half so electronics to the rescue. Uncle Steve to the left on his phone.
Her beloved popcorn.
We had an extra seat which made moving around really easy. The kids traded out sitting by Poppy. There is Daddy's wrist. I did get a pic after all. :D

School Christmas Programs

The Friday before Christmas was super busy. We had Christmas programs for both schools on the same morning. Ross' first. Bless his little heart. I was glad he had on shorts under his costume b/c he couldn't sit still with his legs closed.
The whole group. I think it was 1st-3rd grade.
A few videos. One was mainly taken to show him how active he was so he could get a good laugh.
After Ross' we rushed over to Grace Lutheran for Avery's. There was their usual quick nativity production with seniors only.
Then they did a new format with the juniors. It was really cute. She kept hugging Will the entire program.
A few videos from the program.
After the program we had pizza and cookies. She wanted a pick with Stecks and he sweetly agreed.
Mrs. Lois
Ms. Lauren
Ms. Carly
It was a fun, busy morning!
