Faker

Ross has started the fake cough and fake laugh phase. He was fake laughing all night last night so I was able to get a video. He usually does the fake cough on the way home from school everyday.

New Toy!

Ross got a new walker/ rider toy from his Granny Roo and Pop. He loves to play the music. I tell him he's always got a scratch on his records b/c he hits the same button over and over after the song has played about 1 second. Of course he didn't really do that in this video though. ...I've got to learn to do better with the lighting when taking videos.

Pics

Our friend Amanda (and family) got this as part of Ross' bday present. Number 40 is his Daddy's all time favorite number. It is so cute!
A lot of people have heard me talk about Phillip so I snapped a couple of pictures when he came over to visit. It was the next to last day that he was consulting on our project. We'll miss him but we'll see him again. He lives in Chicago which happens to be where our favorite team, the Cubs, play! :) Phillip and "Daddy" are going to Phoenix next month to watch some Cubs Spring training games and get in a few rounds of golf.
A lot of my family went to Kobe on Saturday. Ross loves watching them cook, most especially the fire parts. Here are a few pictures. Most of the time when they were doing the fire I had him in my lap so couldn't get any pictures.

Ross loves his medicine!

Ross is, yet again, on an antibiotic. We just can't get his ears better. He didn't have any problem last year and now this year between his ears and pneumonia he's on his 4th round. Luckily for us he LOVES taking medicine. He's had 3 different kinds and each one he acts like he's getting candy. Today I took this video of him getting his morning dose. I never have to push on the syringe.

Ross and Mom's morning routine

I thought I'd let everyone see what a typical morning looks like in our kitchen. While I'm getting Ross' breakfast ready he plays in the floor with his own various kitchen 'toys'. Not to say that he never cries. He runs to gamut of happy Ross and not so happy Ross. He climbs my legs as I walk around trying to get me to pick him up, which I do most of the time. :<) Then he calms down and we're right back into playing again.
I'll have to get some pics of him playing while eating some breakfast as well. He plays and plays then stops - opens his mouth - and I pop a piece of pancake in. Then he goes back to playing. If only he would remember how good he had it once he grows up. Oh, not to mention I hold his cup for him to get a sip of milk too. We don't want him to be bothered with such menial taks when there is serious play time going on. ha

Hello order and organization!

Santa, in the form of the UPS man, came to us yesterday with great presents. I forgive Santa for being late b/c the presents are just what we needed! Order has been restored in the Martin household.

First a great cube organizer for all the toys! Ross can pull them out and get the toys easily. The toys can also be put up easily. No more tornado of toys. No more "ouch, what did I step on?".

Next came the book rack, which is really cute and just perfect for his books. (note his crown, ha!)
Ahhhh, life is good. :<)

Snow! Snow! Snow!!!

This is a video I took earlier for all my friends that don't get snow. It is coming down big time in Little Rock.

I was just told by a friend, who is a friend with a weather guy in LR said we are supposed to get 10-15 inches here. ...and I quote, "This is going to be the snowstorm people talk about for years...possibly even decades across the Natural State".

I'll post more pics and videos as I take them.

Odds and Ends

Just a few pics I took yesterday. I don't have many since Ross has been under the weather. Luckily I think he's getting past the pneumonia and I just hope his ear infections have cleared up. We got back to the doctor in a few days for a check up.

He is all about wearing his crown. I suppose he is letting us know that he is in charge. He wants us to put it on him all the time, though his Daddy takes it off him when Ross is not being nice. :) He got to eat some chocolate mousse last night, and obviously he is now a fan!!

Last night when he was eating dinner he kept biting the spoon. He would just clamp down on it and grin from ear to ear.

Thank You

Another video... Ross is so funny about saying thank you. He says it all the time now. We think it is so cute! (excuse the film quality. like the brilliant person I am I filmed it the wrong direction so had to rotate it which caused clarity issues)
