Love those clementines!
Ross loves those little clementines! He'll attack you if he sees that you are going to peel him one. I, mistakenly, got on his mat to peel him one and he would hardly let me get it done. You can get a good idea of how he is from watching the video.
He's begging, PLEASE! PLEASE!
At this point he is quite spastic and is hardly able to contain his excitement.

Sympathy Votes
Ross woke up Tuesday with what I thought was probably pink eye. I called the pediatrician's office and the nurse said it could be either pink eye or an ear infection so I took him in. Turns out the poor baby had pink eye in BOTH eyes AND an ear infection. He was actually in a good mood. He turned on the sicky baby face for the camera so he'd get some sympathy from everyone, me included. :)

Happy Birthday Ross!
Ross turned 1 on Friday! We gave him a big cupcake at home so he'd have something on his actual day. We didn't have his party this weekend. (late planning on Mom's part)
It took no coercion to get him to dig in. He loved it, but he didn't necessarily like it when the icing gobbed up on his hands. He kept trying to flick it off.
He was a huge mess! His daddy picked him up and couldn't help but get icing all over him too. We had to empty the bathtub out mid-bath b/c it was just too gross. The icing was VERY buttery so it just kept floating once it was washed off Ross. It tasted so good though!

A day in the life...
Just a few pics from New Years. Ross enjoyed his vacation from school. He pretty much got to stay in his pajamas 24/7. In the pics below he's pushing on the glass door, trying to stand up. He squashed his face on it too. It was so funny!
Is it just me or does he kind of favor the tugboat?
"Redneck" wagon at his grandmother's house. He's now officially spoiled to any type of wagon. He does not discriminate and all "pullers" are accepted.
Just a cute pic. He is getting so big!!!

Little Red Wagon
This was taken with a camera phone so not the clearest but this is Ross' new wagon. He doesn't care where he goes in it as long as he's moving, even if it is just back and forth. He likes to have his teddy bear as a passenger too.

Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas! Here are a few pics with more to come. We started off with Christmas at my Mom's. Ross loved the boxes and paper.
He'd crawl through the all paper and then all of a sudden lay in the middle of it.
Next was a trip to my Dad's for the night and Christmas morning. We always get silver dollars in our stockings. Ross wanted to see what his tasted like.
Again he was in the paper.
After Dad's we had Christmas with my grandparents and Aunt and Uncle. Ross loves his grandad! (I hope Uncle Brent got some pictures with other people. I only captured Grandad. Well and MANY of Boss-Ross by himself.)
Next we were at our house. By this point he wasn't too enthused about anything. We could hardly get him to even look at his presents.
On Sunday we went to Murfreesboro for Christmas. First stop was at Granny Roo and Pop's. I didn't do well with taking pictures there either. I did get one of Ross with his cousin Sara. She won him over with her shiny bracelets. :o) We had a great time!
Then it was off to see Granny. Ross' Great Grandmother. She's 90 and so sweet!
Last but not least a pic with Dad and Mom, separate of course. We never have any of the 3 of us.

Christmas Party at school
Ross' school had their Christmas party this past Friday. It was so much fun. You can see in the pictures below that Ross loved the cake! I don't think we'll have a problem with getting him to dig into his 1st birthday cake! They also had a gift exchange. Like most babies, he enjoyed the paper more than the present.

Be sure and watch the video. He's in full-on "cake devour mode".
