Rise and Shine!

This is what we found this morning when we went in Ross' room. Guess we waited too long to go get him!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday and Ross had a great time! He didn't go on the hayride b/c it was too chilly but he got to look around at everything else. He loves the little pumpkin. I love those fat little fingers. :o) Once he realized you could pull the hay out of the bale he didn't want to stop. He never did put it in his mouth though.

C is for Cookie

I gave Ross a teething cookie the other day and he was hilarious with it. I've given him one before and he just kept throwing it on the floor. Not this time... He kept leaning back trying to eat it. He couldn't grasp that he should move his hand to get a better bite, instead he'd move his head. Obviously he enjoyed it. :)

First Visit to the Farm

We went to the farm on Friday so Ross could have his first ride on the combine. You can see in the pic below that he's having some separation anxiety issues. :)

He loved the CB. Of course it wouldn't be a good experience without the proper snacks.
He liked trying to drive. He'd usually grab the steering wheel just as Dad was having to turn. Then...he noticed the pen. The offload really interested him. He'd always stop what he was doing to watch the rice go in the grain cart.

The weekend

We had a great weekend. Saturday we stayed around the house. First Ross helped me clean. I always put him on the kitchen counter while I work and he has a great time. I just hope he's that happy when he gets old enough to do some chores. :)











Then we had friends over that afternoon. Ross loves it when kids are around. As soon as he saw Rhiannon he tried to hug her. They had a good conversation on the cellphone. She was telling him all about it.

Shout out to Aunt Amanda and Uncle Steven

Aunt Amanda and Uncle Steven sent Ross 2 cute onsies and he wanted to model for them. He had on the "Someone in San Diego Loves Me" yesterday. I got out the camera to take some pics and he started grinning so big. He was totally posing. Cracked me up!

Sicky Baby

Ross has been sick with a bad cough, yuck nose, and fever. I stayed home with him on Friday. I put him in the chair with his bottle for a second (b/c he won't move with the bottle) and turned back around and he had made himself all cozy. He's still puny today but no fever.

Typical Man

I mean really, is there any need for a narrative here?!? I turned for a second and he had the remote. Believe it or not Sports Center was on the TV.

So sleepy

We took him to the park to swing and he got soooo sleepy. He could barely keep his eyes open by the time he finished swinging.
