Razorback Game

We made the annual LR basketball game this year. It was sold out and mega fun! WOOO Pig!
Poppy was trying to sit down and Avery was picking on him big time. The face off was serious.
This year they decided to take a pic with the hog.
This was as they were introducing players. Everyone had the lights on their phones on. It looked awesome in the arena.
Dippin Dots are always a must too despite the ridiculous line.
The crew that was there minus Poppy.
We won! 88-63 Such a fun game.

The Tree

We got to participate in the Tree as a family this year. Avery had a speaking part. She didn't get too excited over it, but she did the animals.

Ross was a wiseman attendent, but he also was in a choir performance called Snow Days. It  was so good!

Always one of my favorite scenes.
Word is Bro. Jerry may have doubted Avery's ability to handle the part. :) He came around and she did amazingly well!
Animals! Animals! Animals!
Ross kissed a camel. Actually, the camel took a animal cracker from Ross's mouth. He did mine too and it was super cool!
Ms. Mari had tons of activities for the kiddos planned. One was making gingerbread houses.
Our last night!
It was such a hectic year we didn't get the usual pictures, but Benjo and I managed a selfie after the last show.
The kids also climbed to the top of the tree after the last show. I wasn't sure if Avery would make it the whole way, but she did.
Boss is a pro by now with the climb.
All smiles before the climb down.
Headed home to rest up for the last week of school. We love the Christmas village at church.

Thanksgiving

We started Thanksgiving festivities with Avery's class party. Ross didn't have a party this year. She made a placement and wrote her name in "cursive". :)
Her thankful turkey. Gone are the days of being thankful for Cinderella.
They did 2 cute things for the parents.
Per the norm we had lunch at Mam's.
To say she had a ton of leaves is an understatement. In fact she had so many that they covered the steps and I missed 2 steps as we walked outside to take pics and totally busted it.
As always it was a fun day! The weather couldn't have been more perfect!

Sugar Plum Ball

I finally remembered to buy Sugar Plum Ball tickets before they were sold out, and Avery looked forward to that event for months. I knew she would want a long dress because she thinks she doesn't have to wear shorts under a long dress. :) When I got the dress in she immediately tried it on and it was perfect!
The same day she brought home her pumpkin patch painting, and we took a pic b/c it is awesome.
Finally the day of arrived! She wanted a lot of curls and to wear her tiara. She loves to pose, and one of these days she may even start looking at the camera without me having to request it a dozen times.
Nice. Looking at the camera.
Daddy looked so handsome too. They made quite the couple.
So, so excited!
They were able to get a professional picture made there and it turned out so good. She also was given a new tiara at the ball. It was very right up her alley of activities.

Spirit Week

The kids love spirit week at school. Mommy, not so much. The favorite themed days were super hero and crazy hair. I love this picture of Ross.
Avery was super specific on crazy hair day. She wanted a lot of braids then purple color in the back and red in the front. You can't see the red very well, but it was definitely there. She said it was perfect.
