4th of July

We went to the Kolb's annual 4th of July party again this year. It is always so much fun! Nora and her family go too, which is a good friend of Avery's from school. I attempted to get a pic of them together...
This is literally the only picture I was able to get of Ross. He's in the orange shorts. He was so busy playing it was hard to keep up with where he was, let alone get a picture.
Emma and Avery reunited. Yet again, Aves gave a silly face. What can ya do? Enjoy it!
Emma joined finally gave up and joined in.
Almost time for fireworks! This was her first time so we weren't sure how she'd respond b/c certain things freak her out. She LOVED every single second of it.

Baseball Season

Ross was a Diamondback this year. He was quite excited to get his uniform.
Avery had some major tips for him before he got up to bat one day.
End of the year party with most of his team. We loved Coach Lee!
Our buddy Pierce was on the team too! They had a great season and were glad to see each other for several weeks in a row.

Cajun Sno

I hate to admit that we haven't done our job this year keeping Cajun Sno in business. We did hit them up pretty quickly after they opened though. We had our buddy Josh there for the occasion.

I tried to get a pic to mark the event, but you see what I was working with.
Josh got rainbow and Ross got his usual homemade ice cream with angel syrup.
They eventually simmered down to their usual positions at the picnic table and chair. Glad to know some things don't change.

Father's Day!

Slowly but surely I'm catching up. I didn't get many pics of the day, but we had a great Father's Day. Of course we started out with pics. A silly one first.
Then the rest.
Last year's pic. So many changes.
We spent the day in Grady enjoying time with the rest of the family. A fun day!

Kindergarten Graduation

Kindergarten graduation was honestly an event I wasn't looking forward to. I just didn't see the point, and I don't know that I still see the point of it BUT it did end up being fun. I also shed a few tears.

Ross was so excited! Note he wrote "yay" on the bottom right of his chalkboard.
He let Aves in on the action too.
Acting goofy with his friends on stage.
The graduate and his diploma.
Such a great year! It flew by! Mrs. Slayton was his teacher and he said he'd keep her every year if he could.
Mrs. Cargile was their aid and Ross was quite the fan of her as well.
Mrs. Deal started out working with his class and ended the year as Asst. Principal. She was still great to check in on our boy. He loves her. This pic cracks me up! We obviously caught up with her in the reception area.
Our favorite girl, Addylyn.
The start of the year pics. His face has changed to a big boy now. He's also grown quite a bit.

1st grade is just around the corner. I pray for another great year and more fun on the horizons!

What the What? Easter a few months late

I downloaded some pictures off my camera and it made me realize I never did post about Easter. Shame on me!

We did our annual making of the resurrection rolls. Always so fun.
This year Ross even helped put the marshmallows in the rolls.
The look given when the goods have finished baking.
They never last long.
The day before the kids planted 'sucker seeds'. This was so fun. They tossed out jellybeans and then later that night I went out and picked up most of the beans and left suckers in their place.
We had Brent and family over for Easter fun and the kids hunted eggs and had lunch. We had such a good time I didn't get any pictures.
Easter morning and baskets were ready.
Kids were quite excited.
We have fun, but we also work hard to remind the kids why we celebrate Easter. This was a fun thing I saw on Facebook. We had it for breakfast. Donuts and donut holes.
All dressed and ready for church. I made her dress again this year and she was quite the fan.
