Bowling Date

Arkansas Baptist hosted a Mommy/ Son bowling date recently. We had so much fun!
We bowled with Eli and Parker was on the lane next to us.
First found Ross and Eli won. (Actually both rounds and they'll gladly tell you about it too.)
They turned the black lights on toward the end and the kids loved it.
This was the final score of the second game. Yes that is a 97 for Ross and a 45 for me. I'm an awful bowler. I did almost break 100 the first game. I blame carpal tunnel.
Our official pictures. :)
So much fun spending time with the boss!

A Few Videos from Snow

Ross decided to toss some snow on her and she wasn't a fan.

She decided it was more fun to watch them sled from the inside than to just stand outside. The snow was icy so not much fun to play in that go around.
Their favorite part - sledding.

SNOW and SNOW and MORE SNOW!

I knew they reported a rough winter and the persimmon seeds were all showing a spoon, however, when we didn't have anything bad by February I thought we were in the clear. WRONG!

The kids were so excited each and every time.
Avery's first snow that she remembers.
Snow Angel
Trying to build a snowman but that round of snow wasn't good for packing.
It was most excellent for snow ice cream.
Since we were home a lot we were able to do some science experiments. We made crystals - they turned out awesome!
The next round of snow wasn't good for sledding but it was major fun for snowballs and snowmen!
Avery was beside herself with excitement!
Happy times!

Valentine's Day

This was our first year at making a box for Valentines. Ross came up with the idea and I executed the plan.
Party day at school he decided he really needed to dress up. He picked out all his clothes.
Love this sweet dude.
A couple family pictures before school.
Grace always does pajama day on Valentine's Day. Ross picked out the fabric and I made her some pajama pants. They have hearts and dogs. Two of her favorites.
Saturday was actually Valentine's Day so the kids got a few treats from us. Ross' favorite - Crunch bits.
Avery's - cotton candy.
We also had an out of the norm warm weather day so made it to the park that afternoon.
and Anna Beth was able to play too!
From the park we went to an early dinner and completed the day with some Yogurt Mountain for dessert. YUM!

Rumpelstiltskin

We met up with the Bagleys and Schnackenbergs to watch Rumpelstiltskin at the Rep a few weeks ago. So fun to see our friends since we are in different schools!
It was a random beautiful day in the winter so we were able to also feed the ducks. Mrs. Laura is always so smart to think of bread.
Love our time with friends.

Ross' Basketball Season

So here I am back terribly behind on the blog and will hopefully get back on track.

Ross had a great basketball season. It was a lot of fun and he improved so much since last season!
Major plus was he and Josh were on the same team. This picture was actually taken after one of them scored a basket and they had to take a minute to hug it out. They did this often.
In the zone.
Rebound
Boss was a pretty good guard. When he wanted to be.
The two ever present cheerleaders were Avery and Emma. They were able to see each other every week and both looked forward to it big time.
Fairy showed up one game too.
Final game salute.
They always ended the day with a team huddle and a howl. They were the wolves. They boys loved this.
Final game Anna Beth and Mrs. Amber came to cheer the boys on.
I couldn't get a good pic to save my life but they were having so much fun!!!
