Alex's Birthday Party!

Alex had a great 4th birthday party recently! It was at our church. 

The skate seat things were a huge hit!

Gavin had fun with the balloons! 

They had Chick-Fil-A catering for lunch.

So much to do that Ross didn't eat lunch until we got home. He was much too busy! He had Uncle Steve had a lot of fun playing ping pong. 

Aves gave it a valiant effort to play foosball.

She even tried her hand at ping pong.

The 3 Amigos played Wii some too.

Our birthday present was a hit thank goodness. Maybe not for Mommy and Daddy though as it is a keyboard with microphone and all sorts of cool effects. 

Award Ceremony at Little Gym

Avery had her award ceremony at LG and got to show off all the things she learned during the semester. Walking on the balance beam.

Most of her classmates and teacher sitting for their photo op. It was a fun morning. 

So yes this is from the next week and her last LG class but I wanted to be sure and include pictures of one of Avery's favorite parts - getting her belly stamped! 

 All the kids line up (kind of) if a circle is a line :), and they get stamps.

 Belly, hands, and feet! For the entire day she'll walk around showing everyone her stamps. 

Slip and Slide

It finally got warm enough to get the slip and slide out that the Easter bunny brought the kids. Ross was super excited! 

He jumped right on and went down a lot of times. 

Avery wasn't as excited once she got wet, as you can see only half her hair is wet. 

Daddy gave it a go.

Avery was much happier being in control of the water hose. 

Especially when she got to spray Daddy. 

This face says it all. He was a very happy boy! 

Swim Lesson Videos

Swim Lessons for Ross

Ross started swim lessons hot and heavy about 2 months ago. The first couple of lessons involved tears and then all of a sudden he seemed to start enjoying it. He's taking from a high school life guard in Bryant. He likes that she incorporates games into the lessons.

He actually was taking dual lessons for a couple of week. He did one with his school friends and I REALLY saw improvement with him there.

He was actually in Josh's group a couple of times so that was fun. Josh shows Ross no mercy in the pool and splashes him like crazy. 

Ross also got to be in Pierce's group at one point. Pierce was quite nervous about the lessons. It was so exciting to see that Ross never cried once at the lessons this year. The swim instructors all commented on the huge difference in him.

It has been so fun this year seeing how he's gotten more confident. We are definitely keeping up with the swim lessons and I can't way to see his improvement over the summer.
