I had planned a Mommy/ Ross day and it was Alex's birthday so he and Lexie met up with us at the Children's Museum and we had a great afternoon. The first thing we did was go in the area for smaller kids and they immediately went to the trucks!

He loves to play in kitchens!
There was also a cool lighthouse you could climb in. Of course the ball horders found some to carry up with them.
The pirate ship had a cool slide! The coolest of all was the air tube that kept the balls floating.
Obviously Alex loved this!
Ross didn't much care about the reptiles and other animals. Mommy wasn't too sad about it either!
The tornado simulation was super cool! The boys liked to jump in the smoke.
Back to the children's area and Ross got in the boat, but he was none to happy that there were no oars.
Fun, albeit, short rock wall. There was a stage with dress up clothes and a piano. The boys were mostly interested in the piano and the ...
pom poms.
Cool air tube that you could put balls and scarves in then they would shoot out from the top.
There was a special underwater exhibit and it had a magnetic board. The boys thought the plant things were snakes so they were getting us with them!
The body section was very cool. Ross liked the skeleton.
He also really liked this thing that was set up for you to place your hands on the pad and it would make the drum beat to your pulse. I'll post a video and the difference between a kid and an adult is crazy!
Back again to the children's area. This time both boys were interested in the magnets.
Alex mostly took all the magnets out of the bins. He was a sport in helping his Mommy pick them back up.
Aunt Lexie and Alex.
Ross would only do a picture with his tongue out. Looks like his tonsils are good. :)
As we were leaving Alex wanted to get an up close view of the dinosaur.
Ross wanted to pose for a picture.
On Sunday they had a Daddy/Ross afternoon at the golf course. Ross had a good time picking up pine cones. :)
It was a great weekend for making memories. It's a good thing we did so many fun things b/c after this weekend (Cousin Buddy's birthday party) the next couple of them are going to be spent getting packed up to move to our new house! Ross is beyond exited!
