Graduation Day at The Little Gym

Ross got to move up to the next class at The Little Gym! This doesn't really mean a lot except for a later class! So actually it does mean a lot! We were going at 8:45 and now we class is at 9:45. This means mommy gets to do cardio after she trains at the gym and still doesn't have to rush around after! Below we were flying in our morning warm-up. Getting ready to demonstrate some of his skillz. That's right. He can walk across the bars like a monkey. Ta-Da!Playing around on the bar with Daddy. Ball and bubble time! When Ross tries to throw it "up in the sky" he puts it under his neck like a shot put.A little balance beam action. He isn't a fan of walking it alone. Last week Ms. Erin wouldn't let him hold her so he leaned up against her and got a strand of her hair. Hey, whatever he thinks works. :)They got medals towards the end of class. Ross is quite proud of his medal. He's worn it often! He even had to wear it to church the next day!So proud!Singing The Grand Old Duke of York - Ross' favorite!Doing the flip!
Yea Mommy!Waiting patiently to get his stamps.Showing his stamps. Both hands, both feet, and is belly! His new class was a lot of fun on Saturday and we did a few new things. He loves The Little Gym!

Ross got a tricycle

Ross got a tricycle last weekend and was beyond excited! While Daddy put it together Ross and I played outside with the bean bag toss and bubbles! We had company with our ever faithful sidekick Furry. We can always depend on Furry to keep us company. He is used to blowing the bubbles and this was an automatic bubble machine. He would try to blow it from time to time. :0)He would get so excited when it made a great big bubble! He was trying to make the bubble blow on me! ...and finally what we'd been waiting for! One happy boy! We like this trike b/c it has a steering handle and you can push with it too. Comes in handy since Ross is just now getting then hang of pedaling so we are pushing him most of the time when we are outside. Like I said he's just now getting then hang of the pedals so he was quite content to let me push him while he relaxed and drank his Capri Sun. I told my parents I didn't remember having it this cush when I was growing up. ha I'm sure Ross won't remember it either, but luckily I'll have the blog to prove it! :) He's been practing inside A LOT and he's gotten much better with pedaling. His steering isn't quite there yet. He drives like his Daddy, in that when he sees something and looks at it the steering wheel goes the same direction as his head. (shhh! don't tell Daddy that I'm discussing his driving)
I've got some video to post too!

Family Pictures are here!

So as you are aware we had pictures taken a couple of weekends ago and we got them back last week. I'm so happy with how they turned out. So happy to have found a "morning person" in a photographer b/c that's by far when Ross is at his best. :) Below are most of the proofs.Totally hamming it up! I really like this one! I like this one too though. Decisions! Decisions! So angelic. :) We have definitely found our photographer. Ross loved her and she made getting our pictures taken fun, which is something you'll rarely hear me say.

Happy Birthday to Alex!

My nephew turned 1 on Thursday!! His birthday party was Saturday - so yes we had a busy day! First Piggies and Paws and then bday party time! Ross was in Heaven! It was a family bday party for Sir Alex. The weebble wobble people tasted so good! His Daddy took his ball!Once presents were opened we played in the sprinkler! Uncle Brent also set up the bubble machine. Party+bubbles+cake+water= HAPPY ROSS!
Of course Ross had to have cake too! It was so good he took a break from playing in the water! It was also so good that he ate off of about 4 people's plates. :) So happy! Uncle Kevin played in the water with us. They decided to chase everyone with the sprinkler mat. They were out to get everyone! Birthday boy included! Mommy too! Alex decided he wanted to give it a try. He liked it! He really liked it! We are going to get him his own sprinkler mat so he can play anytime he wants! To be the most awesome baseball player ever one must practice their swing at any given moment! Ross is quite good at it. He got his Daddy's Cubs hat. He was on attack with cups of water. Doesn't he look so innocent?!? Like I said one must practice at any given moment! Me and the birthday boy!Time to relax for a minute. It was a long day of playing! Again another great day of memories and of many firsts for both Ross and Alex!
